Jake Voelker joined the women's basketball staff at Northwood University in the summer of 2022. After one year as a volunteer assistant, Voelker was promoted to a full-time position in the spring of 2023. 

"I am super excited to add Jake to our coaching staff,” said Head Coach Autumn Haggadone. “He is someone I have known and trusted for a lot of years. Jake brings great energy and tactile intelligence of the game to coaching at the next level.

“He also has a lot of experience with recruiting contacts in the state of Michigan. We are thrilled to have Jake at Northwood."

Voelker has spent the past seven seasons as a coach with the Michigan Mystics AAU program. He also has served as an assistant for the Goodrich High School varsity program for the past four years.
