Women's Golf Plays At Bowling Green Invite

The Northwood University women's golf team competed at the Bowling Green Invite Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14). 

The two-day, 36-hole event was held at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.  The course played at 5,960 yards and was a par 72.

Northwood shot team scores of 360 and 339 to finish at 699 overall.  Detroit was the overall winner at 618, followed by Indianapolis at 633.

Leading the way for the Timberwolves was senior Brittany Davidson (Mississauga, Ont.).  She carded rounds of 89 and 78 to finish at 167, good for a tie for 48th place.  Kim Brown (Lapeer, Mich./West) finished at 172 (87-85) to tie for 65th.

The Timberwolves will host the Northwood Invite Saturday and Sunday (April 20-21).  The event will take place at Buck's Run Golf Club in Mt. Pleasant.
