Women's Golf Finishes 10th At Walsh Invitational

CANTON, OHIO – The Northwood University women's golf team earned a 10^th place finish at the Walsh Invitational.

The two-day, 36-hole event was held at the Glenmoor Country Club. The course played as a 6,061 yard, par 72.

Northwood shot team scores of 348 and 346 to finish at 694 overall. Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 628, followed by Ashland at 642. A total of 14 teams took part in the event.

Grace Cannon (Liverpool, England) was Northwood's top finisher, carding rounds of 77 and 81 to finish at 161 overall and tie for 14^th overall.  Marlies Klekner-Alt (Ottawa, Canada / Newman U.) tied for 29^th at 168 (87-81). A total of 73 players competed at the event.

Northwood will compete at the GLIAC Championships April 25-27.
