RECAP: Playing against some of the best teams in the country, Northwood opened their 2016-17 season by placing 16^th at the UIndy Fall Classic

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 323 and 344 to finish with a team score of 667.
• Dallas Baptist was the overall winner at 585 (300-285), followed by host Indianapolis was the overall winner at 587 (290-297).
• Seven of last year's top-10 finishers at the NCAA Division II Championships played in the event (Dallas Baptist, Indianapolis, Tarleton State, Findlay, St. Leo, Grand Valley State, Augustana)

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Grace Cannon (Liverpool, England): 78-83=161 – tied for 55^th overall
• Ali Martus (Wayland, Mich.): 83-85 – 73^rd overall in first career event
• A total of 93 players competed in the tournament
