Women's Golf Places Third At SVSU Spring Invitational

OVERVIEW – SVSU SPRING INVITATIONAL

LOCATION: Cherry Blossom Golf Course – Georgetown, Ky. (Par 72 – 6004 yards)
RECAP: Northwood paced third out of 17 teams at the SVSU Spring Invitational (March 17-18).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot matching team scores of 314 and 326 to finish at 640 overall.
• Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 578 (290-288), followed by Saginaw Valley at 635 (322-313).
• Nine of the 17 teams that competed are from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Monica Gabriele: 80-74=154 – tied for ninth overall
• Taylor Harding: 76-83=159 – tied for 18th
• A total of 100 players competed in the tournament

• Northwood will return to Kentucky next weekend for the Perry Park Spring Fling March 24-25.
