Women's Golf Opens Season At UINDY Invitational

RECAP: Northwood finished 14^th at the against a strong field at the UINDY Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday (September 12-13).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 319-324-332 to finish with a team score of 975.
• Host Indianapolis, the No. 1 ranked team in Division II according the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) preseason poll, was the overall winner at 864 (294-283-287), followed by third-ranked Dallas Baptist (292-295-289=876).
• Of the 15 teams competing in the event, eight are current ranked in the WGCA top-25 (No. 1 UINDY, No. 3 Dallas Baptist, No. 10 Grand Valley State, No. 14 UMSL, No. 15 Lee, No. 21 Arkansas Tech, No. 24 Limestone. Findlay and Carson-Newman also competed are receiving votes.

• Ines Dorado: 78-82-79=239 – tied for 61st overall
• Taylor Harding: 79-79-85=243 – tied for 64th overall
• Sydni Harding: 82-79-82=243 – tied for 64th overall
• A total of 85 players competed in the tournament
