Women's Golf Finishes Third At SVSU Spring Invite - Sydni Harding Earns Individual Medalist Honors
OVERVIEW – SVSU SPRING INVITATIONAL
LOCATION: Lexington, Ky. – Kearney Hills Golf Club (Par 72 – 5834 yards)
RECAP: Led by individual medalist Sydni Harding, Northwood earns important third place finish at the SVSU Spring Invitational Saturday-Sunday (March 16-17).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Northwood shot team scores of 305 and 324 to finish at 629 overall, which was good for third place.
- The Timberwolves first-round score of 305 tied the school record for lowest team round in program history.
- Findlay was the overall winner at 608 (304-304), followed by Tiffin at 625 (308-317)
- A total of 23 teams took part in the event.
TOP NU PERFORMERS
- Sydni Harding: 73-75=147 – First place – won tournament by two shots. First title of her career.
- Taylor Harding: 69-81=150 – tied for fifth overall. First round 69 is a school record for lowest individual round.
- A total of 126 players competed in the tournament
