Sydni Harding Qualifies For NCAA Championship - Women's Golf Places Eighth At NCAA East Regional

RECAP: Sydni Harding becomes second player in Northwood women's golf history to qualify for the NCAA Championships as the Timberwolves place eighth at the East Regional Monday-Wednesday (May 6-8).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 327-318-318 to place eighth overall at 963.
• Findlay was the overall winner at 895 (303-291-301), followed by Indianapolis at 903 (292-296-315).
• A total of 12 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Sydni Harding: 75-71-76=222 – tied for third. As one of the top-four finishers from teams not qualifying for the NCAA Championships, Harding has earned an individual bid to the championships.
• Taylor Harding: 80-85-78=243 – tied for 39th
• Ines Dorado: 87-78-83=248 – tied for 47th
• A total of 65 players took part in the event.

NORTHWOOD NOTES

• Sydni Harding is the second individual to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships, joining Jamie Long (2004).
• Sydni Harding's third place finish at the regional is the best for an individual in school history, besting Long's fifth place showing in 2005.
