Women's Golf Finishes 10th At Findlay Spring Invite
OVERVIEW – FINDLAY SPRING INVITE
LOCATION: Findlay Spring Invite – Lexington, Ky. (Par 72 – 6,048 yards)
RECAP: Highlighted by a hole-in-one by Morgan Colby Northwood women's golf team placed 11th at the Findlay Spring Invite Monday-Tuesday (March 22-23).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Northwood shot team scores of 322, 314 and 315 to finish at 951 overall
- Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 884 (288-300-296), followed by Findlay at 887 (294-304-289) and Missouri-St. Louis at 904 (297-302-305).
- A total of 17 teams took part in the event.
TOP NU PERFORMERS
- Ines Dorado: 73-76-80=229 – tied for 15th
- Sydni Harding: 84-74-73=231 – tied for 20th
- A total of 100 players competed in the tournament
NORTHWOOD NOTES
- Sophomore Morgan Colby carded a hole-in-one on the 114 yard eighth hole in the final round. It was the first ace of her career and the first for a Northwood player since Ines Dorado had one at the GLIAC Championships April 21, 2019. Colby carded a career-low 78 on the day.
