Women's Golf Opens Season At Indianapolis Invitational

RECAP: Northwood women's golf opened its season at the UINDY Fall Invitational Monday-Tuesday (September 12-13)

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 333, 318 and 325 to finish at 976 overall, good for a tie for 16th overall.
• Dallas Baptist was the overall winner at 860 (289-286-285), followed by host UINDY at 882 (298-284-300) and Findlay at 883 (285-298-300).
• A total of 17 teams took part in the event.
• The event annually features some of the top teams in Division II – Dallas Baptist (1), Findlay (8), Lee (9), Indianapolis (12), Grand Valley State (19), Carson-Newman (20), and Central Missouri (23) all played in the event and finished last season ranked in the top-25 nationally.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Ines Dorado: 82-72-73=227 – tied for 21st
• Morgan Colby: 82-83-76=241 – tied for 67th
• A total of 92 players competed in the tournament
