Northwood maintained control of play and applied constant pressure, despite pouring rain throughout the entire match. NU netted their first goal in the 38th minute and didn't look back. Alyssa Tomassi (Macomb, Mich. / Eisenhower) fed the ball to Sarah Murdoch (Dewitt, Mich. / Dewitt), who juggled it into the back of the net at 37:36. Tiffin had a solid scoring opportunity just four minutes later. Lauren Bowyer took a shot that beat Northwood's keeper but hit the right post and lingered parallel to the goal line until a Northwood defender cleared it away. Northwood went into halftime with a lead of 1-0.

The Timberwolves turned up the heat in the second half, netting three additional goals to confirm the win. Tomassi netted her third goal of the season, in the 51st minute off a juggle inside the box to beat the keeper. Just over two minutes later, Allie Misner (Macomb, Mich. / Eisenhower) registered her fourth goal of the season, heading in a free kick delivered by Tomassi. In the 62nd minute, Tomassi drove up the left side of the field and shot a rocket past the keeper to the upper right-hand corner of the net.

Alyssa Tomassi played a key role in all four goals of the match, scoring two and recording two assists. As a team, Northwood registered 25 shots (seven on goal) to Tiffin's eight and held the advantage in corner kicks 7-5 (including six in the first half). Julie Shields (Berkley, Mich. / Berkley) recorded three saves and improves to 4-3-1 on the season with the win.

Northwood will host Findlay for their final game of the regular season. Match is set to start at Noon. The Timberwolves will be recognizing their seniors prior to the start of the match.
