ANN ARBOR, MICH. – The Northwood University women's soccer team fell 3-0 at Concordia Friday afternoon (September 11).
The Timberwolves are now 0-2-1 on the year, while the Cardinals improve to 4-2-1.
Despite allowing 11 shots in the opening period, the Timberwolves went into the half trailing 2-0. NU was unable to capitalize on multiple scoring opportunities in the second half, with three shots on goal. The Cardinals held the offensive advantage with 18 shots, to NU's 11 and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Goalkeeper, Julie Shields (Berkley, Mich. / Berkley) registered nine saves in the loss.
