Neither team was able to get much offense going in the start of the match, as Northwood registered the lone three shots in the opening twenty minutes of play. The Timberwolves were able to take a 1-0 lead into halftime, after holding a 5-0 advantage in shots for the first period. NU also registered the one corner kick of the half.

The Dragons found their offensive threat in the second half, but were unable to convert on any of the eight shots taken. Northwood goalkeeper, Julie Shields (Berkley, Mich. / Berkley), registered her second shutout of the weekend and tenth of her career after making two saves. Shields is now 5-4-1 on the season.

NU will be on the road next weekend, traveling to Michigan Tech on Friday (October 23) at 7pm before making their way to Northern Michigan on Sunday (October 25) with kickoff at Noon.
