RECAP: Northwood women's soccer played Parkside to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon (March 21).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • The two halves of the game were vastly different. The opening 45 minutes was controlled by Parkside. They took the lead at the 2:48 mark, which proved to be the only goal of the first half.
  • Parkside out-shot Northwood 6-0 in the first half. Both teams had one corner kick in the opening 45 minutes.
  • Northwood turned the game around in the second half, controlling the play from the start.
  • NU had numerous chances and finally tied the score in the 78th minute. Juliana Paoletti took a feed from Jillian Hon and found the back of the net. It was Paoletti's second goal of the season.
