GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood got on the board first in the eighth minute. Hannah Jatczak sent a ball from the back towards goal, which found forward Juliana Paoletti. She put the ball past the keeper at 7:25 to give the Timberwolves the lead.
  • The score remained 1-0 until halftime. Northwood held an 8-3 edge in shots and a 3-0 advantage in corner kicks in the opening half.
  • The Timberwolves extended their lead in the 80th minute on a goal by Jessica Piper. The assist went to  Riley Rajewski, which made the score 2-0.
  • Tiffin had been quiet for the majority of the second half, having registered just two shots in the opening 37 minutes. But the Dragons drew a foul in the area and converted the PK to make the score 2-1.
  • Northwood responded well to the goal and got the lead to 3-1 just over four minutes later. Peyton Starner netted a goal in her second straight game off a feed from Jillian Hon to get the lead back to two goals.
  • The Timberwolves finished the scoring in the 89th minute on a goal from Piper to give the Timberwolves the victory.
