RECAP: Northwood remains unbeaten with a 4-0 win at Ursuline Saturday afternoon (September 11).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood broke open a scoreless game with an offensive explosion in the final 13 minutes of the first half. Jessica Piper got the Timberwolves on the board first with her team-leading fifth goal of the season at the 32:48 mark.
  • Less than six minutes later, Jillian Hon netted her first goal of the season off a pass from Abigail Fowler to put the Timberwolves up 2-0.
  • Northwood made it 3-0 before halftime thanks to Adyson Laurin. Her first goal of the season came at 43:10. Fowler picked up her second assist on the goal.
  • The score remained 3-0 at the break. The overall stats were even in the half. Both teams had eight shots and one corner kick in the half.
  • The final goal of the game came less than 10 minutes into the second half. Rilyn Ross scored her second goal of the season on a pass from Hon.

  • Through four games, Northwood has now scored 16 goals. Last spring, Northwood scored nine goals in nine games. In NU's last full season in 2019, the Timberwolves scored 22 goals in 18 games. They finished the 2019 season 9-9 overall.
