GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ferris State took the lead in the 33rd minute on a scramble out front. After a free kick, the ball was in the area and found the foot of Bri Rogers, who scored to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.
  • The score remained 1-0 at the break. FSU held a 6-3 edge in shots. Neither team had a corner in the half.
  • The Bulldogs extended their lead in the 60th minute after drawing a penalty. Rogers converted for her second goal of the day to push the advantage to 2-0.
  • Northwood did not go away and struck back with one late. Isabel Anderson got the ball and lofted a shot into the upper left corner to get the Timberwolves within one at 2-1.
  • That was as close as the Timberwolves would get, however, as FSU held over the final 6:38 to claim the victory.
