GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood generated more chances early in the game but it was the Panthers who got on the board first. Their goal at 9:20 made the score 1-0.
  • Davenport made it 2-0 less than five minutes later.
  • The Timberwolves got one back in the 31st minute thanks to Abigail Fowler. After her initial shot hit the post, she picked up the loose ball and found the back of the net to make the score 2-1. Rilyn Ross picked up the assist on the goal
  • The score remained 2-1 at the break. NU held a 13-6 advantage in shots and a 6-1 edge in corner kicks in the opening half.
  • DU's Hailey Diekevers finished off her hat trick off a deflection on a throw in to make the score 3-1 2:27 into the second half.
  • Northwood had numerous chances the remainder of the way, finishing the second half with 19 shots while missing a pair of penalty kicks. NU also hit the crossbar twice in the game.
