GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ursuline would gain their only lead of the day early on as the Arrows would score in the 10', 1-0 UC.
  • It wouldn't be long before Brooke Honeycutt and NU would bounce back with their first of four unanswered goals on the day in the 14', 1-1. Honeycutt led the team with five shots on the day.
  • Just before the break, Northwood would earn one of their ten corners of the day. Carly Boyd's cross to the center allowed Lauren Way some breathing room to score it on the far post. This was Way's first goal of the season and Boyd's first of three assists on the match, 2-1 NU.
  • Northwood would take the one-goal lead into the half. Following the break, another Carly Boyd corner would be headed in by Stephanie O'Keefe in the 59', 3-1 NU.
  • Northwood's 10 corner kicks were the most in any game they have had this season.
  • The Timberwolves kept the foot on the gas as they would be awarded a free kick in the 79', Boyd's third assist from 30 yards out was headed in for her team-leading sixth goal of the season by Abbie Fowler, 4-1 NU.
  • The 4-1 lead was too much for the Arrows to overcome as they went scoreless the rest of the way.
