RECAP: Northwood women's soccer traveled to the first road game of 2023. A trip to Big Rapids to face No. 6 Ferris St. was on the horizon. The Bulldogs would prevail, 3-1, behind early goals that had Northwood playing from behind for most of the match.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Ferris State controlled the ball early putting Northwood on the defensive for most of the first half. The Bulldogs created two scores before the 12th minute, scoring at the 53-second mark and later in the 11'.
- FSU outscored NU 10-5 in the first half including three shots on goal.
- Julianna Paoletti's effort led to Northwood's first score of the game, edging a Ferris St. defender to cut into the FSU lead, 2-1 FSU.
