RECAP: The Northwood women's soccer team started their three-match homestand with a shutout victory over visiting Tiffin on Wednesday (September 27). The Timberwolves would leave victorious, winning 1-0.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Northwood and Tiffin were virtually evenly matched throughout the contest. The Timberwolves had the edge after one half. They led six shots to TU's four and four corners to TU's one.
• Coming out of the break, the Timberwolves would strike quickly in the 47' as forward Brooke Honeycutt would find a seam down the left side towards the left post. She would dribble around two Tiffin defenders before scoring through the right side.
• Tiffin applied pressure throughout the second half, outshooting Northwood 6-5 with three corners to NU's two.
• Northwood's defense would prove to be the deciding factor as the Timberwolves would force a Tiffin goal kick with 30 seconds left. This proved not enough time as NU would prevail 1-0.
