G-MAC Women's Soccer Championship Central

MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood women's soccer team is set to host the opening round of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) women's soccer tournament for the second consecutive year. This season, women's soccer captured the program's first-ever conference regular season championship en route to being the year's No. 1 overall seed.

No. 1 Northwood (13-3-2, 12-1-1 G-MAC) will face No. 8 seed Ohio Dominican (5-7-6, 4-6-4 G-MAC) at Dean Field at noon in the quarterfinals on Saturday (November 4). The winner of this match will advance to the semifinals to play the winner of No. 4 seed Findlay and No. 5 Trevecca Nazarene on Thursday (November 9).

If the Timberwolves are to advance, they play host to the rest of the G-MAC tournament. This includes the semis on Thursday, followed by the championship final on Saturday (November 11).

This is the Timberwolves' third matchup with the Panthers this season as the Timberwolves prevailed in the previous two. Northwood won by scores of 2-0 (September 30) and 2-1 (October 12). Carly Boyd was key in both matches, scoring in each while assisting on Reagan Brengman's game-winner in Columbus.

Tickets are $10 a person, while Northwood students get in free with a valid student ID.
