Women's Tennis Defeats Hillsdale 7-2

The Northwood University women's tennis team remained unbeaten on the season with a 7-2 win over Hillsdale Friday afternoon (September 13).

Northwood is now 5-0 overall, 5-0 in the GLIAC. Hillsdale falls to 0-2 overall, 0-2 in the GLIAC.

The Timberwolves took a 2-1 lead after doubles after three lopsided doubles matches.  Northwood claimed 8-2 wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, while Hillsdale earned an 8-3 win at the No. 1 slot.

Northwood went on to claim five of the six singles matches to earn the overall victory.

NU will take on Findlay Saturday morning (September 14).  Match time is set for 10 a.m.
