CANTON, OHIO – The Northwood University women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 win over Walsh Saturday morning (October 3).

Northwood is now 7-1 overall and in the GLIAC. Walsh falls to 3-4 overall and in the GLIAC.

NU came out strong in doubles, winning all three matches to take the early advantage. Northwood dropped a total of just three games in winning all three doubles matches.

The Timberwolves then went on to win five of the six singles matches, all of which were in straight sets. NU's lone loss came because of retirement.

Northwood will host Hillsdale next Saturday (October 10). First serve is set for 2 p.m.
