GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The Northwood University women's tennis team picked up a 5-4 road win over Davenport Friday night (March 25).

Northwood is now 17-2 overall on the season. Davenport falls to 11-5 with the loss.

The bottom of the Northwood lineup was the key to the win for the Timberwolves. NU led 2-1 after doubles after earning wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 position.  Northwood then picked up wins at the final three positions in singles to claim the victory.

On the day, Anastasiia Kazub and Maria Avksenenko each went 2-0 to lead the way for Northwood.
