INSIDE THE MATCH

After a pair of quick wins in doubles at the second and third positions, Northwood had to grind out the contest at the top position. NU earned a 9-8 win in a tiebreaker to take a 3-0 advantage heading into singles.
Northwood kept the momentum going into singles, winning all six matches. Five of the six matches were won in straight-sets.
