Women's Tennis Earns 4-3 Road Win At Wayne State

RECAP: Northwood remains unbeaten with a hard-fought 4-3 win at Wayne State Tuesday afternoon (October 9).
INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood earned the doubles point with a pair of victories. The teams of Tetyana Pavych/Carol Arnez-Mercado (No. 1) and Iryna Trystan/Vasilisa Mikhaylova (No. 3) earned wins to send the match to singles with NU leading 1-0.
- Singles proved to be tight as well – the two teams split the six matches. With the match tied 3-3, the result came down to the final match on at No. 2 singles. Arnez-Mercado came through for Northwood, winning 6-7, 6-1, 6-1.

NORTHWOOD NOTES
- This is the first match this season Northwood has not won by the score of 7-0. The Timberwolves were unbeaten in singles and doubles heading into today.
