INSIDE THE MATCH
- Wayne State picked up the doubles points after three tightly contested matches. The Warriors won at the No. 1 and No. 3 slots 6-4, while the Timberwolves earned the win at the No. 2 position 7-6.
- WSU came out fast in singles, winning three matches to close out the victory. The Warriors won in straight sets at the No. 2 and No. 6 slots while taking a three-set match at the No. 4 position.
