Rafaella Platsiota Earns G-MAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Rafaella Platsiota, a sophomore from the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

The conference made the announcement Monday (April 10).

Platsiota lead the Northwood women's tennis team to a pair of sweeps over Ashland and Cedarville last week, going 4-0 combined in singles and doubles from the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions. She was 2-0 at the top of the singles lineup and 2-0 in doubles with partner Rafaella Fulop

Northwood will wrap up its regular season with a match at Hillsdale Saturday (April 15). First serve is set for Noon.
