2024 G-MAC All-Conference Selections

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University women's tennis program was well-represented on the All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) teams, which were announced at the league tournament on Thursday (April 25).

On the women's side, Danijela Danilovic earned First Team honors, while Rafaella Platsiota and Savannah Matuszewski were placed on the Second Team.

Danilovic earned her first career all-conference selection. She played at the two singles slot while going 19-1 overall and 9-0 in G-MAC play. In doubles, she, with partner Brigitte Gomez, has gone 11-2 with an 8-0 conference record in the three-hole.

This is the second time Platsiota has earned All-Conference honors, claiming Second Team G-MAC last season. Platsiota has 15 wins overall in singles and has gone 8-1 in conference play. Her record in doubles with Matuszewski at the No. 1 position is 13-7 overall, which includes a 6-3 mark in conference action.

This was Matuszewski's first career all-conference selection. She played a majority of the season at three singles grabbing a 16-4 overall record and an 8-1 G-MAC record. Her Platsiota held the down-the-one doubles all season.

The women's team is waiting to see if they earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Regional after falling in the G-MAC Semi-finals.
