Track Programs Placed On USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS – The Northwood University men's and women's track and field programs each were named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

A total of 117 women's teams and 66 men's teams earned the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.

The women's team ended the year with a 3.31 GPA, which was the 11th best of the 117 programs recognized. Eighty-eight women from thirteen different GLIAC schools were honored, including senior Hunter Perry (Moran, Mich. / Rudyard) and sophomore Madison Arnouts (Grand Ledge, Mich.).

On the men's side, Northwood's team GPA was 3.25 for the year. That mark was the 14th best of the 66 teams named. A total of 41 GLIAC student-athletes on the men's side that earned the award.
