Volleyball Signs Colleen Mayer To National Letter Of Intent

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University volleyball team has announced the signing of Colleen Mayer (Troy, Mich./Avondale) to a National Letter of Intent.

Mayer is a 6-3 middle blocker who plays club for Michigan Elite Club. She led Avondale High School to the District Finals this season. Mayer was named the top player in Oakland County by the Oakland Press as well. She also earned All-Region and All-League honors as a junior.

"Colleen is a great player and a wonderful person," said Head Coach James Goodridge. "She has the work ethic and attitude to continue to propel our program to the top of the conference. We believe that she has a wonderful future ahead of her and we are glad to have her in the Timberwolf family."

Northwood will lose just one player from this year's roster for the 2015 season.
