INSIDE THE MATCH 

• The Timberwolves had a strong start to the first set, jumping out to a 12-5 lead and forcing the Pride to call a timeout. Northwood never looked back, scoring eight of the next eleven points to go up 20-8. The Timberwolves went on to take the opener 25-13. The Timberwolves hit an excellent .423 (13-2-26) to the Pride's .121 (9-5-33).
• The Pride responded in the second set, claiming a 9-6 lead to start the set. Northwood used a 12-5 run to take the lead, 18-14. The Timberwolves eventually took the second set 25-16. Northwood continued their hot offense, hitting .417 (13-3-24). Purdue Northwest hit .000 (7-7-26) in the set.
• The third set was competitive to begin, with both teams tied at 8-8. The evenly matched play continued, with no team leading by more than one point until the Timberwolves took the 18-16 lead. A strong finish by the Timberwolves gave them the third and final set 26-24.  The Timberwolves fell back to .043 (13-11-46) while the Pride hit .073 (10-7-41).
