RECAP: Volleyball moved to 2-0 in conference play with a 3-0 road win at Ursuline Saturday afternoon (September 10).

INSIDE THE MATCH

Northwood set the tone for the day right away, scoring eight of the first 11 points of the opening set. The Arrows trailed by 13-9 when the Timberwolves put the set away with four straight and five of the next six points to make the score 18-10. NU eventually took the set 25-16 for a 1-0 overall lead.
With Northwood leading the second set 4-3, NU posted a big run. The Timberwolves scored next five points as well as 14 of the next 17 to go up 18-6. Northwood eventually took the set 25-9 for a 2-0 lead.
NU kept the momentum going early in the third set, scoring six of the first seven points. The Timberwolves got their lead to as many as eight (13-5) before the Arrows fought back to get within four at 15-11. Northwood put the match away at that point, going on a 7-1 run to lead 22-12. The Timberwolves eventually finished the 3-0 sweep by taking the third 25-18.
