RECAP: Northwood Volleyball moves to 2-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a 3-0 win over Ursuline Saturday (September 16).

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Northwood started the match fast, winning 11 of the first 14 points. Ursuline made a push down the stretch, putting up a 5-1 run to get within three at 22-19. NU responded with three of the final four points to take the opener 25-20.
• The Timberwolves led 12-10 in the second when the Arros scored six of the next seven points to take a 16-13 lead. NU finished strong with a pair of 5-0 runs at 16-13 and 20-20 to take the second 25-20 for a 2-0 advantage.
• Northwood jumped out fast in the third, scoring nine of the first 10 points. The Arrows got no closer than seven while NU led by as many as 11. The Timberwolves finished the sweep with a 25-15 third-set victory.
