INSIDE THE MATCH

• Northwood set the tone for the day right away, scoring the first four points of the match. The Timberwolves led by at least three points the rest of the set. NU scored five of the final six points to close out the first 25-14.
• The second set was never in doubt, as the Timberwolves scored 14 of the first 15 points. Malone got no closer than 12 the rest of the way. NU eventually took the set 25-7 to go up 2-0.
• Malone took their first lead of the day early in the third, putting up the first point and six of the first nine overall. Northwood eventually led 20-16 before Malone fought back, tying the score at 24-24. The Timberwolves finished the match by scoring the final two points to take the third 26-24 to complete the sweep.
