RECAP: Northwood volleyball moves to 6-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a 3-0 road sweep over Ursuline Friday night (September 29).

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Ursuline, who lost to Northwood 3-0 in Midland September 16, started the match by scoring the opening three points. Northwood eventually tied the score 8-8 and took the lead for good at 11-10. The Timberwolves eventually won the opener 25-20 for a 1-0 lead.
• Much like in the opening set, Ursuline started strong, leading 4-1 after five points. The score remained with two points for much of the set, with the key run starting with the Arrows leading 15-14. Northwood registered seven of the next eight points to take a 21-16 lead on their way to a 25-19 win and a 2-0 advantage.
• An 8-2 run by Northwood early in the third tied a tied score into a 13-7 Timberwolves lead. Ursuline got no closer than four the rest of the set. NU scored the final five points to take the third 25-16 and complete the sweep.
