Volleyball Earns 3-0 Sweep Over Kentucky Wesleyan

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood scored five of the first six points of the match to set the tone for the opening set. KWC got within one at 11-10 but that is as close as the Panthers would get. An 8-1 run for Northwood made the lead 18-11, setting the Timberwolves up to take the opener 25-13.
- Set two was tied 10-10 when the Timberwolves scored four straight. NU eventually scored six of the final seven points to give the Timberwolves the second set 25-18.
- Trailing 7-6 in the third, the Panthers made their first big run of the day, scoring five straight to go up 11-6. Northwood responded with eight of the next 11 to take a 14-13 lead, only to see KWC come back to take an 18-16 lead. The two teams went back-and-forth down the stretch, with the set being tied at 20-20, 21-21, 22-22, 23-23, 24-24, 25-25, 26-26, 27-27 and 28-28 before Northwood earned the final two points to close out the final set 30-28.
