Volleyball Loses At Tiffin 3-1

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Tiffin started the match fast, scoring the first three and four of the first five points. Northwood took their first lead of the set at 10-9. With the score tied 15-15, the Timberwolves put up 10 of the final 12 points to take the set 25-17 for a 1-0 lead.
• Northwood jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the second set. NU led 14-11 when the Dragons took control. Tiffin scored 14 of the final 17 points to take the set 25-17 to level the match at 1-1.
• Tiffin kept the momentum going early in the third, scoring the first eight points of the set. Northwood was unable to get anything going, getting no closer than seven the rest of the way. The Dragons eventually took the set 25-11 to go up 2-1.
• The fourth set was tied 8-8 when Tiffin scored five straight to go up 13-8. Northwood fought back to get within one at 15-14. But the Dragons finished strong, scoring 10 of the final 13 points to win the set 25-17 and the match 3-1.
