Josh Jones Is Set To Represent Northwood At The U20 U.S. Track & Field Championships

EUGENE, OR. – Northwood men's track & field will be sending a representative to the Under-20 United States Track & Field Championships this weekend (June 23-25) in Eugene, Oregon.

The meet is held at Hayward Field in Eugene on the campus of the University of Oregon.

Northwood's 800m crew featuring freshman Josh Jones (Harrison, Mich.) was ranked No. 4 collectively by USTFCCCA in Division II this past outdoor track and field season.

Jones is scheduled to race in the 800m Friday at 6:46 PM ET/ 3:46 PM PT in the first round of competition with the finals to follow at 7:09 PM ET/ 4:09 PM PT on Saturday, June 25.

In his last competition of the outdoor season, Jones set a personal best at 1:50.96 during the Lee University Last Chance Meet (May 14). That mark currently sits as the fourth-best in program history.
